Editorial independence

This site’s editorial team does not sign off commercial terms. The reviewers who write the pages do not know the exact commission tier that applies at any given moment, because the commission tier is a commercial variable that changes slightly over time without any involvement from the editorial desk.

If a review on this site turned sharply critical of Runewager, that would be reflected in the writing on the page, not in a hidden deletion of the link. We have no mechanism for secretly down-weighting an operator we are critical of — the link is placed on the page by the editorial system and routes through the /go-now/ page, and the only toggle is to publish or not publish the page at all.

What the operator pays

We do not publish the exact percentage of the revenue share — operators treat commercial terms as commercial information, and we are contractually required to do the same. What we can say is that the terms we have with Runewager are market-standard for the US market in 2026, that they are revenue-share only and not CPA (cost-per-acquisition), and that they do not include any editorial clauses. The operator does not have the right to approve or reject copy on this site, and it has never attempted to.

If that ever changes — if a new commercial arrangement with any operator came with an editorial clause attached — the pages that fall under that arrangement would carry a visible notice at the top, or we would walk away from the arrangement.

The regulatory frame

In the United States, affiliate marketing of gambling operators is regulated differently by each state, and operators that advertise in regulated states are responsible for the content of the affiliate pages that drive their traffic. This site complies with the Federal Trade Commission’s disclosure rules — this very page is the disclosure — and with the state-level advertising rules in each regulated state in which Runewager accepts play.

If you have a regulatory concern about this site’s advertising practice specifically, the first contact point is editorial@rune-wager.com. For a formal complaint about operator advertising in a specific state, contact the state gambling regulator named in the Runewager footer.

How this site earns

Northstone Media Ltd, which runs this review desk, earns money in one way: when a reader clicks an outbound link to Runewager and goes on to open a real-money account on the operator side, Runewager pays Northstone a share of the net revenue that account generates over its lifetime. This is a standard revenue-share affiliate agreement, the kind that funds most independent operator reviews.

We do not get a per-click payment, and we do not get a flat sign-up bounty. The commission depends on actual real-money play by the referred reader, which means that the operator pays us the same amount whether we published a glowing review or a critical one — the commission tracks the reader’s activity, not the review’s tone.

What it changes for you

Nothing on the Runewager side changes if you click through from here instead of typing the URL directly. You pay the same deposit, you get the same bonus terms, you play the same games and you withdraw into the same bank account. The welcome offer is identical whether or not an affiliate referred you — operators are contractually required to keep it so.

The only difference you may notice is a tracking parameter in the URL when you land on Runewager. That parameter tells the operator which affiliate referred you so it can attribute the eventual commission correctly. It does not alter your account conditions in any way.
